Blowing, casting, cutting... glass becomes art. A delight to the eyes. From works made by François Décorchemont, born in Conches and a leading figure in glass art, to those made by the Leperlier brothers, Jean-Claude Novaro, Yan Zoritchak and Jean-Pierre Umbdenstock, the museum provides an overview of contemporary glass works in France. Every year, artists' exhibitions show the vitality of this art.
Good to know: Décorchemont (1880-1971) was one of the greatest contemporary glass artists; his work is very distinctive and includes the stained-glass windows of St Odile's Church in Paris and of more than thirty churches in the Eure.
