In La Haye-de-Routot, a typical Norman village, your Sundays will smell of freshly baked bread!

In the heart of the Boucles de la Seine Normande Regional Natural Park, the former 18th century thatched cottage, turned into a bread oven, is a very lively museum with yummy Norman smells. On Sunday afternoons, you can come and watch bake bread and other baked specialities (burning the fire, sweeping out the embers and ash, loading the bread, removing the bread from the oven) and bring the freshly-baked bread back home... And during the regular bread baking courses, the baker will give you tips to successfully make your own bread.

At the bread oven, Yves Lallemand, a fascinating baker, is in charge. He brings back to life, with energy and humour, the local bakers' legacy and gives his loaves of bread all kinds of shapes.
