Appreciate their variety, in charcuteries, delicatessens and restaurants. It’s very easy to sample our cheeses in the Eure. For lunch or dinner, you might savour them with an apéritif or by opting for cheese or charcuterie platters, accompanied by AOC wines. Or then a cheese fondue served with potatoes or fresh crusty bread is another tasty delight. Also note how many meat and fish dishes are prepared with cheese melted into the sauce in the Eure’s kitchens, creating unique flavours!

Make the most of wine waiters’ recommendations for pairing wines and fromages when it comes to the cheese course! Our gastronomy puts local producers and regional produce to the fore. The Eure is proud of its farmers and market-gardeners, supplying our restaurant kitchens. Eating out, why not follow up the daily special with a fine cheese, simply served with fresh bread and salty butter, as gourmets like it? Home-made cuisine in Normandy proves extremely tasty, the cooking very much based around local ingredients.

Discover the friendly atmosphere at our dairies and cheese shops; they work alongside our cooks to select flavours that typify the region. If you’re a foodie or simply inquisitive by nature, look at our selection of addresses at which to taste cheeses and cheese-based culinary specialities and treats on a weekend break or during your holidays in the Eure.
